Thrombosis is the leading cause of death or disability in Western countries.

A thrombosis is caused by a blood clot (thrombus) that clogs the veins or arteries, usually caused by an atheromatous plaque that grows in the wall of a blood vessel.

It can cause phlebitis in the legs, or even lead to thrombosis, after sitting for a long time or without mobility, in genetically predisposed people.

When a clot breaks off and begins to travel through the circulatory system it is known as embolism.

60% of the causes of thrombosis are due to genetic factors and 40% are related to environmental factors, sedentary lifestyle, diet, or smoking.

Prevention and early detection is the only way to prevent the disease or reduce its risks.

TROMBOgenes profile is indicated in smokers, obese, hypertensive, diabetic, pregnancy, people with suspected thrombophilia and before surgery. And especially in people with a family history of thrombosis.

  2. Follow the instructions for collecting the sample.
  3. After obtaining the sample, include it in the return envelope remember to put into the necessary documents.

  5. An email confirmation will be sent when your sample si received.
