Genomics

A profile is a study of a group of single nucleotide polymorphisms that provide valuable information to predict the risk of suffering particular diseases.
According to the individual risk may be recommended personal preventive measures, lifestyle habits, nutritional supplements or drugs, in order to prevent or delay the disease.

Pharmacogenetics
Changes in genes can cause drug individually may have different effects than expected
A dose for certain people can cause them therapeutic effect and a wrong reaction to other one or therapeutic failure.
When many drugs are taken together, can interfere with each other and cause unwanted effects.

Genetics
A genetic disease or disorder is a pathological condition caused by an alteration of the genome. This one may be hereditary or not, if the altered gene is present in the gametes of the germ line (eggs and sperm), it will be inherited (passed from generation to generation), however if affects only somatic cells it will not be inherited.
